This new facility for the Gonzales County Emergency Management Services located in Gonzales, Texas was a design build project with RMA Architects and Weaver Jacobs Constructors. The building is approximately 12,000 sf total with 6000 sf dedicated for fire and EMS vehicle apparatus bays. The office and housing area included a fitness room, conference room, day room and kitchen, eight sleeping rooms, and administrative areas. The project also included a vehicle wash bay at the rear of the property. NRG Engineering was responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing design. The building utilizes natural gas heat throughout and a 200KW natural gas generator so the building can stay in operation during any condition.
