The Ideal Candidate

• Has the technical expertise to perform HVAC load calculations using Trane Trace or Trace 3D, size ductwork and hydronic piping, select the proper equipment, and prepare control sequences and schematics.
• Has working knowledge and experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
• Can identify and resolve the challenges of system selection and mechanical room coordination.
• Can clearly document and communicate technical information such as submittal reviews, site surveys, and construction administration coordination.
• Takes responsibility for the quality and timeliness of their work.
• Aligns with NRG Engineering’s core values of dedication, innovation, excellence, and integrity.
• Has EIT certification and 3-5 years of experience with the capability of becoming licensed within two years.

Interested candidates without an EIT certification and a minimum of 3 years of experience may also apply, provided they meet the following requirements.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience related to building construction.
